Goa to host India Bike Week on Feb 19-20

first_imgPanaji, Feb 16 (PTI) India Bike Week (IBW), touted as the countrys largest biking festival, will be held in Goa on February 19 and 20.Conceptualised and initiated by Seventy Event Media Group and Fox Life, this years event will be held in association with Shell Advance at Arpora Sporting Ground in Arpora village in North Goa.”IBW 2016 is set to be bigger and better at a new and exciting venue being the Arpora Sporting Ground. The venue will be ready to host over 12,000 hardcore club-members and independent riders,” Martin Da Costa, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Seventy EMG told PTI today.”With India Bike Week 2016 set to be our biggest yet, we are thrilled to be back in Goa who have been great hosts to Asias biggest biking festival. We feel this year with our efforts in bringing in an ensemble of new attractions coupled with rider support systems to bikers across India, we are taking a step closer to identifying Goa and India Bike Week as a global biking experience,” Costa said.Swati Mohan, Business Head of Fox Networks Group, said, “IBW has grown over the years and has become a celebration of not just biking, but also a mecca for experience seekers and travellers.””Its a meeting ground for passionate bikers, collectors, riders, tourists and their friends.
