Christopher Tufton, said the policy of the Government is to work with communities for the provision of up-to-date health facilities, so that health-related issues can be prevented, and “to solve your health problems”.The Minister encouraged the staff at the health centre to observe the rights of patients as displayed in a Compassionate Care Chart on the walls of the facility. He also called on patients and community members to display respect to the medical team at the facility.Compassionate Care, which was launched at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital in March, is being rolled out at several health institutions across the island, and is aimed at improving care and services by introducing a patient-centred approach.“Several qualitative additions have been made at the centre, and it is up to us to use it and benefit from it, and lead healthier lives in the process, because this is an enabling infrastructure,” the Minister said. The Kitson Town Health Centre sees just over 1,000 persons each month, and, recently, the Government refurbished a section of the facility for the expansion of its pharmacy services with a full-time pharmacist, a pharmacy technician and a curative nurse.
zoom The LNG trade is undergoing a transformation driven by new players, a growing tanker fleet and changing patterns, which emerged amid an increase in the number of LNG importing nations, according to DNV GL.Until recently, the LNG seaborne trade represented only eight per cent of the total gas trade and was limited to a few large importers such as Japan and South Korea. Oil-linked gas prices prevailed and almost all contracts were signed as long-term charters with very few ships involved in spot activities. However, a substantial increase of gas production, combined with significant additions to both liquefaction and regasification capacity have changed the market fundamentals. After years of stagnation, the seaborne trade grew by seven per cent, adding 17 million tonnes of new cargo. The demand growth was driven predominantly by China and India, but also by newcomers such as Pakistan, Egypt and Jordan. These countries will continue to drive demand, however other countries such as Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore are also expected to play an increasing role as importers.“On the one hand, a growing number of importers are generating a steadily increasing demand while, on the other hand, forcing suppliers to demonstrate more flexibility,” DNV GL said.According to IEA, more and more contracts are being signed for shorter durations and smaller quantities, without fixed destinations, and decoupled from oil prices. For the shipping industry this translates to more spot trading and more diversified trade patterns.DNV Gl informed that it may still take a while for LNG carriers to experience higher earnings. The order book is still over 120 ships strong, with deliveries in 2017 and in 2018 set to reach an estimated growth of 10 per cent and 7 per cent, respectively.“In light of the plans for major export terminal expansions in 2018 and 2019 (unless delayed), freight rates are likely to remain low throughout 2017. Nevertheless, the current remodelling of the market creates new opportunities in the longer perspective,” DNV GL said.

Monjasa now gains full ownership of the supply chain as we already control all sourcing and storage of oil products at our oil terminal in Portland Port,” Anders Østergaard, Group CEO, commented. As part of the operations, MT Frederica is currently providing several weekly supplies to cruise ships in nearby Southampton. Monjasa has experienced an increase in number of fuel deliveries to this particular customer segment over the past two years and this summer prospects a busy period ahead for the vessel and its crew.In 2017, Monjasa supplied 700,000mts of marine fuel across Northwest Europe – equivalent to 19% of Monjasa’s 3.5 million mts total supply volume.
MIAMI—Even in the face of a down real estate market, b-to-b residential housing and commercial construction publishing giant Hanley Wood is maintaining an aggressive business strategy. During today’s luncheon keynote at the FOLIO: Publishing Summit, CEO Frank Anton unveiled what he calls the “10 deadly sins” that have b-to-b companies in a “spiral of purgatory” in a down economy.Anton outlined the sins—underperformance, cowardice, technophobia, inferiority, complacency, coziness, stinginess, cluelessness, disorganization and dullness—with examples from Anton’s own experience in leading Hanley Wood.“Fear of failure for many outweighs the satisfaction of success,” Anton said of the “cowardice” sin. “Try things. Take chances. To grow a company you need to take risks. Sometimes you’ll fail but try. Learn.” Trade publishers that have underinvested in electronic media are now playing catch-up—and are paying the price, Anton said in reference to his ‘technophobia’ sin. Hanley Wood’s online advertising has seen growth over the last couple of years, and Anton expects that revenue to grow 40 percent this year, he said.In regards to complacency, Anton urged even successful publishers to continue to strive to be better. “Too many companies are making money and don’t care if their publication is the number one, number two or number three book in their segment. I don’t get that,” he said. “Being competitive and winning is fun. Be restless. Work hard to be the best.”
SpaceX The fairing is part of the protective cover at the top of the Falcon 9, which shields payloads as they’re lifted into orbit. Once the rocket punches out of the atmosphere and into space, the fairing breaks in half and falls back to Earth. A droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, then attempts to catch the fairing with a giant net. We’ve seen SpaceX capture a fairing on its most recent launch and before that we’ve seen it fail a few times. It seems practice makes perfect and it’s finally getting the hang of nabbing the nosecone like a ship-sized Mark Waugh stationed in the slips (that’s one for our Aussie readers).A New Zealand-based spaceflight company, Rocket Lab, announced on Tuesday it would also begin attempting to reuse rockets. It won’t be capturing any fairings, but it will try and snag the first stage booster from the sky with a helicopter. Post a comment Sci-Tech Tags 13 Photos Share your voice Number two. SpaceX SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 two-stage rocket to orbit on Tuesday, offering a free ride for the AMOS-17 communications satellite. It was the third flight for the Falcon 9 booster and to get the satellite to orbit SpaceX had to do away with the booster — so we don’t get to see SpaceX pull off another dazzling booster return. However, we have got the next best thing: A droneship capturing the rocket’s fairing.Elon Musk, SpaceX CEO, posted a video of the daring fairing capture to Twitter on Tuesday. 0 Meet the SpaceX Falcon Heavy, the world’s most powerful rocket Rocket fairing falling from space (higher res) pic.twitter.com/sa1j10qAWi— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 7, 2019
